Laura Ford is a British - American Author, Writer, Speaker and founder of the Pollinator Protection Fund of Laguna Beach, California.
Laura founded the Pollinator Protection Fund of Laguna Beach in Spring of 2021 following her research into the drastic decline of the Western Monarch butterfly population.
Since this time, Laura has created the first in many Western Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator gardens in Laguna Beach, California.
The founding Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator garden is located in the beuatiful and renowned Heisler Park.
The garden was kindly sponsored by the Laguna Beach Garden Club.
The garden contains native plants, Native Milkweed - the host plant of Monarch butterflies - shrubs and flowers with year round blooms to give nectar to pollinators.
Laura Ford writes novels, short stories and poems across a wide range of human and animal experience. As Laura is an avid cat lover, a number of special felines tend to find their way into Laura's stories as well.
Laura graduated with an honours degree in British law while also writing fiction in parallel.
Now based in California with her husband and two beguiling Siamese cats, Laura most enjoys using her imagination and memories to paint vivid stories. An avid traveler and seeker, Laura is always exploring new concepts for more stories to come.

Laura speaks on behalf of the Pollinator Protection Fund of Laguna Beach, giving informative and inspirational talks about Western Monarch Butterflies, their habitat, lifecycle and what we can do to help protect them.
Laura has performed stand-up comedy at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles and at the Hollywood Improv.
She has appeared in sketches for the Jimmy Kimmel show and modeled for Harley Davidson among other large brands.
