Laura Ford is a British - American Author, Writer, Speaker and founder of the Pollinator Protection Fund, California.
Laura founded the Pollinator Protection Fund in Spring of 2021 following her reading into the drastic decline of the Western Monarch butterfly population.
Since this time, Laura has created several public Western Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator gardens in Southern California.
The founding Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator garden is located in the beautiful Heisler Park, Laguna Beach and includes uplifting educational signage.
The garden was kindly sponsored by the Laguna Beach Garden Club.
The garden contains native plants, shrubs and flowers with year round blooms to provide nectar to pollinators.
Laura Ford writes novels, short stories and poems across a wide range of human and animal experience. As Laura is an avid cat lover, a number of special felines tend to find their way into Laura's stories as well.
Laura graduated with an honours degree in British law while also writing fiction in parallel.
Now based in California with her husband and two beguiling Siamese cats, Laura most enjoys using her imagination and memories to paint vivid stories. An avid traveler and seeker, Laura is always exploring new concepts for more stories to come.
